Brazilian state capitals of Curitiba, Goiânia and Salvador will receive 5G on Tuesday

Starting today (16), the 5G mobile network will be launched in Curitiba (Paraná), Goiânia (Goiás) and Salvador (Bahia). The decision to activate the 5G signal was made yesterday (15) by the Group for Monitoring the Implementation of Solutions to Interference Problems (Gaispi), which is linked to the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) and is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the new technology.

According to Gaispi's assessment, these capitals have met the minimum requirements necessary to clear the 3.5 GHz band, such as conducting preliminary tests to identify and address the possibility that the 5G signal will . . .
