Brazilian launches plant-based milk in Gulf markets

The plant-based milk market is expected to reach a value of US$123.20 billion by 2029, according to research firm Data Bridge Market Research.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - (ANBA) Brazilian entrepreneur Maria Eduarda Becker is tapping into the plant-based beverage market and will distribute to four Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.

She is the founder of the United Arab Emirates-based coffee brand Três Marias and has recently launched a plant-based milk line.

Becker aims to break into this booming segment in the UAE. “We’ve developed the product step by step. It took two years to find a supplier with the potential to grow with us, as this is still an untapped sector in the region,” she told ANBA.
