Brazil elections 2022: Lula da Silva’s lead shrinks – poll

Former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's lead over incumbent Jair Bolsonaro has shrunk to just seven percentage points ahead of the October elections, according to a poll released Monday (8).

According to the BTG/FSB telephone survey, the leftist head of government has the support of 41% of voters compared to 34% for his conservative opponent. Last month the figure was 44% and 31%, respectively.
