Brazil creates 218.9 thousand formal jobs in July, 7th consecutive month of positive results

Brazil created 218,900 formal jobs in July. It is the 7th consecutive month of positive results. A total of 1.6 million jobs have been created so far this year.

The data was released Monday (Aug. 29) by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

The figure for July was lower than financial market analysts had forecast, with a balance of 250 thousand, median.
