Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Phauna Todos Reunidos returns once again for another edition at the top of the Vidigal mountain at the infamous Casa Alto Vidigal. Led by front man Chester Cave, the second edition in Vidigal is looking to be as successful as the first, which packed the house until the wee morning hours. On deck for the night is a slew of true househeads, ranging from the States to right in Rio.
Opening up the night are B-Side residnets Breaking Legs. The duo have been performing all over town are are sure to start things off right. Next up is Flavio Mancebo, one half of Housenation, who holds down residencies at Pacha and Privilege in Buzios. Taking over after that is RUN VDG resident and San Francisco transplant Mike Frugaletti, who has rocked his chunky funky house sounds from Rio and San Francisco to Europe and beyond. The night will be tied up with another resident transplant/carioca Chester Cave who has held down nights in Chicago, California and of course Rio. House music at its finest tonight.

From the suburbs of Vila Isabel, Ponto de Equilíbrio performs tonight at Circo Voador. The group not only sings, but speaks the language of reggae, showing the best of Jamaican culture with a spice of Vila Isabel.
