Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The La Folie crew rises again with their new funk fest Na Moral e No Amor at Fosfobox in Copacabana. This party fuses the sounds of funk, soul, house, techno, disco, jazz, breaks and pretty much anything with a beat. Featuring pretty much all your favorite local and a few out of town DJs, the lineup includes local legend Mauricio Lopes, Sao Paulo favorite Magal, Gaturamo Live, plus residents Lennox, Dani Souto, Pedro Piu and Rockphonne.
The night has gone off without a hitch at other venues and tonight arrives for the first time in the Rio’s number one alternative music nightclub. Expect a variety of musical stylings and bpms as the roster is filled with talent from every genre.

Jagwar Ma (Lagoa)
The Australian group Jagwar Ma will bring their psychedelic dance-pop sounds to the Lagoa venue tonight, Miranda. They arrive in Rio thanks to the help of Queremos, a Rio based crowdfunded kickstarter, that connects musicians, agents, fans and venues. Their music is often compared to bands like The Beach Boys, The Stone Roses, Primal Scream and The Happy Mondays.
