Since 2002, Beam, as Iron & Wine, has released five full-length albums, severals EPs, live albums and vinyl EPs and LPs. He is currently touring in support of his fifth studio album entitled, Sing Into My Mouth, which was released earlier this year in July.
Beam’s well-known songs include “Upward Over the Mountain” from The Creek Drank the Cradle; “Flightless Bird, American Mouth,” and “Boy With a Coin,” both from the 2007 album, The Shepherd’s Dog; and “Naked as We Came,” from the 2004 album, Our Endless Numbered Days.
Sacadura 154’s doors will open at 10PM and a playlist from the platform Soundsgood entitled, Que Se Folk, will be played before and after the show.

On Thursday nights the Praia Club, now located in Ipanema, is hosting the Shake u Party. DJs Angola, Jonathan, Paulinho, and De Luca will spin the best of pop indie, house, funk, hip hop, trap, and Latin Rhythms during the night. The entrance fee will be free for women with their names on the list until 12AM and there will be an open bar for women until 12AM. Caipirinhas will be free for men until 12AM. Additional promotions will include two for one specials on beer and vodka plus energy drinks all night long.

Tonight the Salsa in Rio party returns to the the Mariuzinn club in Copacabana. DJ Sabroson will spin the best of Latin rhythms including salsa, bachata, reggaeton, cumbia, merengue and Latin pop and DJ Guga Fernandes will spin the best of house and deep house, hip hop and funk during the night. Additionally, caipirinhas and Cuba Libres will be free until midnight.

Beginning at 7:30PM, singer Flávia Dantas returns to Rio Scenarium to start the night with her reinterpretations of works by Tom Jobim, Vinícius de Moraes, João Donato, Dorival Caymmi, Ary Barroso, Chico Buarque, Noel Rosa, and Cartola among others. The group Artigo Esgotado will follow at 10:30PM with the best of classic and contemporary samba.

Salsa and Forró Leviano (Lapa)
Tonight at Lapa’s Leviano bar it’s time to dance as the group Mano a Mano starts things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor.
