PARTY:
Omulu x Leo Justi x Rodrigo S @ Fosfobox (Copacabana) – This is going to be a heavy night on one of Rio’s best and most inclusive dancefloors.
Fosfobox have a full line-up featuring some of the city’s premier DJing talent behind the decks, including Omulu (Arrastão), Leo Justi (Heavy Baile), Rodrigo S (Bloco do S.), plus spots from Global Bass and Vertentes.
Tickets are between R$15-R$30 and the night begins at 11PM.

LIVE:
Here Comes The Samba @ Rio Scenarium (Centro) – A mix of samba with rock and a dash of Carnival! This evening is following the recipe of the first successful edition of Here Comes The Samba! For the second edition they’ve increased the hint of Carnival with the Carnival blocos Sargento Pimenta and Toca Rauuul!
To complete the party there will also be all the swing of the Baile do Zen, accompanied by DJ Rafael Barreto, then closing will be DJ Marcello Saber, playing all the hits from Brazil and around the world. On top of all this there is an open bar from 7PM-8PM.
Tickets are between R$25-R$60 and the night begins at 7PM.
Here Comes The Samba – Rua Lavradio 20 – Centro

PARTY:
Vaca Profana @ HUB RJ (Santo Cristo) – This is going to be a massive party courtesy of Vaca Profana. As a prelude to Carnival, participants are encouraged to dress in their most outrageous costumes, with plenty of glitter guaranteed to be flying through the air.
Musical entertainment comes courtesy of Edu Castelo, Transpira, and Realce.
Tickets are between R$10 and R$40 and the night gets going at 11PM.

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.

Void/House of Food (Botafogo)
Blending culinary, drinks and fashion, the bar/store invites a different chef to prepare a new menu every week. Besides great imported beer labels, it usually serves delicious veggie food and homemade burgers.

Pavão Azul (Copacabana)
Pavão Azul is a lively bar in Copacabana, famous for its exceptionally cold beers and prawn pastels. It gets crowded there every night, making every day of the week seem like the weekend.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Blue Agave Ipanema is always a great place for Mexican food, drinks and for watching live sport streams and broadcasts. Just around the corner from Posto 9, the bar is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
