“Dois amigos, um século de música” (Two friends, a century of music) is a homage to not only the long-lasting bond between the two musicians but the work they have each produced over the past fifty years.
Having met on Rua Chile in Salvador, the pair have since pursued their own careers and toured the world. Now they come together on this special occasion to sing and play in Rio. This latest tour has already been to Europe and various cities in Brazil. It returns to Circo Voador for three nights, beginning this evening.

In a very rare reunion of two of Brazil’s most charismatic singers and songwriters, Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gill will play at Circo Voador as part of their international tour.

Novas Frequências 2015: Festa (Saúde)
Novas Frequencia Festival will tonight hold a party to celebrate music from Africa and its diasporas. Covering reggae and dub through to English hooliganism, it will be a night exploring a spectrum of African rhythms as well as house and techno.

Singer Lucas de Moraes will start off Lapafest with his reinterpretations of works by Zeca Pagodinho, Jorge Aragão and Clara Nunes, among others.
