Sunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – After receiving more than 50,000 requests from fans via the online platform Queremos!, young pop stars Jack and Jack come to Rio present their debut album “Calibraska” tonight.
The namesakes, from America, have achieved stardom with their satires, parodies and voiceovers of the pop world on YouTube and Vine.
Headlining in Rio, they promise to win over the Brazilian public performing live songs such as Wild Life, Like That, Cheat Codes, Groove, Right Where you Are and Tides among others.

Jazz no Morro (Cantagalo)
Today, from 4PM, the Angélica Duarte Jazz Trio will take the stage for the weekly Jazz no Morro event at Gilda in Cantagalo. Additionally during the night, DJ João Santiago will spin the best of Brazilian music, pop and classic rock during show intervals.

It’s time once again for the best of house, electro and pop as the twelve-hour Duo party returns to Gávea’s chic 00 (Zero Zero) club. DJs will start the party around 5PM by spinning on the deck until midnight and more DJs will spin inside beginning at 10PM continuing throughout the night until 5AM Monday morning.

Roda de Samba and Football with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with samba dancers following the matches and the group Samba Di Buteco playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. Additionally, DJ Mukato will spin during show intervals.
