Peru Police Chief Urges Emergency Action Over Shortages

Peru’s top cop, General Jorge Angulo, states the police force faces a critical lack of resources.

He blames the deficit on frequent government changes and high-ranking officer removals. These obstacles have stopped consistent planning and project rollouts.

In an interview, Angulo called the resource scarcity unprecedented. “We urgently need more cars,” he added.
