National Anti-Drug Secretariat (SENAD) Minister Zully Rolón headed the national delegation on behalf of the country and expressed her gratitude for the trust placed in Paraguay by the member states.

CICAD is the most important forum in the hemisphere, where national and regional policies addressing the various aspects of the drug issue are discussed.

It also discusses strategies and actions to be adopted and implemented by the member states in a joint and coordinated manner, within the cooperation framework.

It serves as a forum for OAS member states to discuss and find solutions to the drug issue, and to provide technical assistance to increase their capacity to address this scourge.
