The Same Night as Solís

Marco Antonio Solís plays Arena 1 on the Costa Verde the same evening. Lima has two major Latin concerts competing for one Saturday.

The audiences overlap without being identical. Solís draws the ballad and ranchera listener, this bill the tropical and vallenato one.

Lima promoters rarely coordinate. Venue availability sets the calendar more than competition does.

Finding the Stadium

The Estadio San Marcos sits inside the national university campus in Lima Cercado, off Avenida Venezuela. Its formal name is longer than any listing uses.

It is not the Estadio Nacional, which is in the city centre beside the Parque de la Reserva. The two are frequently confused in event listings.

Tell a driver the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos rather than the stadium name. The campus entrance is the reference point.
