By · January 2, 2023 · 1 min read

Iran is negotiating with Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela the construction and repair of power plants in these countries, said Mohammad Ali Farahnakian, the adviser for international affairs to the Iranian energy minister.

“We are conducting negotiations with Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela. One of the main issues is the construction and repair of power plants,” Farahnakian was quoted as saying by the Tasnim news agency.

In addition, he highlighted, “the creation of sewerage systems” is being negotiated in these countries.

Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela “want to take advantage of the technical and engineering capacity of the Islamic Republic,” he emphasized.
