Cuban government removes Energy Minister amid energy crisis

On Monday, October 17, the Cuban government announced the dismissal of the Cuban Minister of Energy and Mines, Liván Arronte, from his post in the context of the energy crisis and the constant blackouts that the Caribbean island has been suffering for months.

The Cuban regime has thus appointed Vicente de la O Levy as the new Minister of Energy and Mines.

At the same time, it has also decided to remove Lázaro Guerra, general director of the National Electrical Union, from his post, whose position will now be filled by Alfredo López Valdés, as reported . . .
