A German DJing duo, D Nox and Beckers have become a major force on the electronic scene since they began spinning in 2005. Known for their unique take on progressive house, the pair released their album, Left Behind in 2007.
Also during the party tonight, another up-and-coming force in both the Brazilian and worldwide electronic scene, the DJing duo of Flow & Zeo, will spin.
Additionally, Nytron, a project formed by producer Kriptus Rá, will spin, and Brainstorm VJs will provide visuals throughout the night.

Quiz Night Rio @ Gringo Café (Ipanema)
Tonight the Quiz Night Rio event returns to Ipanema’s Gringo Café for its second edition. Fashioned after Irish and English bar social events, Quiz Night Rio, is a new weekly event at the American restaurant. The night features four to ten rounds of questions about Brazilian and International general knowledge with teams of two to six players competing for a weekly prize. While this is the second edition of Quiz Night Rio at Gringo Café, Quizmaster Oracle Stephen has been leading the event in Natal RN for over two years. So, assemble your teams and get ready for two hours of trivia, socializing and fun. The charge to play is R$10 per person.

At 7:30PM, singer Roberta Espinosa will get things started by performing the best of jazz, funk, and samba at Rio Scenarium. Then at 11PM Dhy Ribeiro returns to perform samba and reinterpretations of the works of famous samba and samba rock composers . Finally beginning at 2:30 AM, the group Trio Pé de Serra will play some of the best forró you can hear any in the city tonight. The group recently released their 3rd album entitled, Moinho D’água and their popularity is increasing as they play an estimated twenty shows a week.

Tonight at Lapa’s Carioca da Gema, Juliana Zanardi will start things off at 8PM and Leo Russo will follow at 9:30PM. Then at 11PM, singer-songwriter Moyseis Marques will perform his own compositions, as well as, his reinterpretations of the works of Luiz Carlos da Vila, Martinho da Vila, Paulinho da Viola, and Chico Buarque, among others.
