The Iron Maiden concert in San Salvador takes place on Monday 5 October 2026 at Estadio Jorge “Mágico” González. Authorities will close streets around the stadium from 1pm to 11pm that day.
The British band brings its Run For Your Lives World Tour, which marks 50 years since its founding. The band’s official tour list confirms the date and venue, with The Raven Age and Souls of Steel in support.
Which streets close, and when
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT) and the Vice Ministry of Transport (VMT), which runs road traffic, published a traffic map on 3 October. According to elsalvador.com, the plan is active from 1pm to 11pm on Monday.
Fully closed stretches sit mainly on the eastern side of the stadium. They cover parts of 45 Avenida Sur, 6.ª and 8.ª Calle Poniente and Pasaje Flor Blanca.
Traffic on 4.ª Calle Poniente will be controlled rather than stopped, between 49 Avenida Sur and the 45 and 47 avenues. One lane will also close on the link between 6.ª–10.ª Calle Poniente and 49 Avenida Sur.
Traffic officers will stand on Alameda Roosevelt, Avenida Olímpica and nearby streets. Commuters crossing western San Salvador on Monday afternoon should allow extra time.
Tickets and the night itself

On 3 October the ticket platform FUN Capital still listed three zones, elsalvador.com reported. General cost US$45, Aces High US$110 and Trooper B US$200.
Trooper A, Tribuna Baja, Tribuna Alta and Preferencial showed as sold out. Availability can change quickly, so the outlet advised buyers to check the official platform before paying.
Gates open at 4pm, Gloria Villacorta of promoter Two Shows told Diario El Salvador, adding that times could still change. Reports place the start of the event at around 6pm, with other listings giving 7pm. Organisers are also bringing Eddie’s Dive Bar, the band’s themed pop-up bar, to El Salvador for the first time.
Where San Salvador fits on the tour
San Salvador is the second Latin American stop, three days after Mexico City on 2 October. There the band played 17 songs over about two hours, elsalvador.com reported, citing Mexican media.
The tour then moves south. Rio Times has covered the later dates, including Iron Maiden Plays San José, Costa Rica on 8 October and Iron Maiden Plays Quito, Ecuador, on 14 October.
For El Salvador, the Iron Maiden concert is a sizeable stadium event on a working Monday. It will test how well the published traffic plan holds up.
What Is Not Yet Known
No official attendance figure has been released, and organisers have not stated the stadium’s capacity for this show. Whether the remaining zones sell out before Monday is also unclear.
The final set list is not confirmed, as bands can change songs between dates. Any extra road measures beyond the published map have not been announced.
