Brazil’s Central Bank website offline due to overload in system “hunting” for forgotten funds

A tool launched by the monetary authority allows users to check the balance left in financial institutions, among other features.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Central Bank of Brazil's official website went offline last Monday night, January 24. The issue may have been prompted after the service allowing users to check if they have money left in banks was launched.
