Allies alert Brazil’s Bolsonaro to risk of Moro taking him out of 2022 runoff

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - President Jair Bolsonaro has been alerted by allies to the risk of Sergio Moro taking him out of the 2022 runoff, should former Justice Minister and Judge Sergio Moro succeed in drawing voters from the President and be identified as the right-wing force capable of defeating leftist former president Lula, currently the front-runner.

However, Bolsonaro does not consider Sergio Moro to be a strong threat. He thinks that his former minister fails to convince as an actual conservative (Bolsonaro sees himself as a conservative, not an extremist).
