By Contributing Reporter

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson’s nephew, made his musical debut this Friday, June 28th. Jermaine Jackson’s son released his first single, entitled “Got me singing”.

The track video clip was recorded in Rio de Janeiro, in Morro do Vidigal, and features Jaafar taking a chance on “Passinho”, a famous urban dance bred in Rio.

“It’s been a great experience for me; I can’t thank everyone involved in this video enough. Thank you, Vidigal. To everyone in Brazil, thank you very much. I hope you like it,” Jaafar Jackson wrote on his Instagram.

Jaafar follows in the footsteps of his uncle Michael, who also came to Rio to record footage for the clip of “They don’t care about us” at Morro Dona Marta, in 1996.
