RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - One man was killed and three were injured, among them a State Police (PM) officer, during a clash yesterday morning in the Rocinha favela, in the southern part of the city, according to the PM State Secretariat.
UPP Rocinha State Police officers were on their way to take over when they were shot at by heavily armed criminals inside at least three vehicles in the area known as Largo do Boiadeiro, according to the Secretariat.
