The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, announced that he will present a proposal this month for the U.S., Russia and China to agree on a five-year truce within the framework of the United Nations (UN) to seek peace in Ukraine.
"The proposal is being worked on, it will be presented when it is Mexico's turn to intervene in September, this month at the UN, the Secretary of Relations Marcelo Ebrard will formally present it," the president announced at a press conference.
