Deutsche Bank expects higher growth and tougher politics in Chile, Colombia and Peru

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Deutsche Bank said Wednesday that it expected Chile, Colombia, and Peru to again likely outperform the rest of the Latin American region in terms of economic growth by 2022.

While the three Andean economies also faced inflationary pressures, they were either much milder (in the cases of Colombia and Peru) or had been met with decisive central bank action (in the case of Chile, BCCh), Deutsche Bank said.

The bank estimates that macroeconomic imbalances in Peru and Chile will narrow next year.
