“Amazon Web Services” wants to invest more in Chile and Latin America

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a US cloud computing provider founded in 2006 as a subsidiary of the online shipping retailer Amazon.com.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) expects sustained growth in Chile and the rest of Latin America in the coming years, despite ongoing political unrest, a senior executive told Reuters.

"In the future, we plan to invest more and expand our physical presence in Chile to the extent that customers demand and request it to meet their needs," said Jaime Valles, vice president for Latin America, declining to comment on the investment . . .
