Santa Catarina state has created the most jobs in southern Brazil and the third most in the entire country

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Job creation continues to be positive in Santa Catarina state (6.7 million people). Despite having a population significantly smaller than neighboring Paraná (11 million) and Rio Grande do Sul (11.2 million), Santa Catarina state registered the highest absolute number of formal jobs in southern Brazil in the first four months of the year.
