Brazilian vehicle production up 43.9% in August; highest since November 2020

Brazil's automobile manufacturers' production in August reached 238 thousand units, including passenger cars, light SUVs, trucks, and buses, the highest volume in 21 months.

This figure exceeds the total for the same month in 2021 by 43.9%. Compared to July, the increase was 8.7%, according to the balance published on Friday (9) by Anfavea, the vehicle industry association.

This is the highest vehicle production since November 2020, when 238.2 thousand vehicles were assembled in the country.

With this result, automakers reverse the negative sign, recording a 4.7% increase since the first day of the year . . .
