Brazil's tourism sector continues to grow, demonstrating its strength in international comparisons.
The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), a renowned authority on world tourism, shows that Brazil ranked 11th as the most important tourism sector in the world in 2021 (it was 13th in 2019).
According to the report, Brazil also recorded the highest demand for domestic travel among the countries studied in the same year, overtaking countries like Australia and Canada.
The airline JetSmart announced new flights to Brazil, connecting the country with cities in Argentina (Buenos Aires) and Chile (Santiago) starting in December.
