Brazilian airports may suffer fuel shortage as a result of pro-Bolsonaro uprising

The Brazilian Association of Airlines (Abear) has alerted the authorities to the impact on the airline network due to the blockade of roads and highways in various parts of the country.

Estimates by the airlines show that if the current scenario continues, the sector could suffer from fuel shortages during the holiday season.

Air transport may also be impacted by the difficulty of arriving professionals, crew members, and passengers at airports, making the operation unviable and also affecting essential activities such as the free transport of organs for transplants and cargo shipment.
