Agreement with CERN gives Brazil access to world’s largest particle accelerator

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The agreement signed on Thursday, March 3, made Brazil an associate member of the European Center for Particle Physics (CERN), giving Brazilian scientists access to the world's largest particle accelerator, Brazil's Foreign Ministry said.
