The vast majority of Brazilians believe that the spread of Fake News can significantly impact the presidential elections to be held in October, according to a poll conducted by the Ipec Institute.
According to the poll, '85% of Brazilian voters believe that Fake News can impact the elections', while 12% say it should have no impact, and 3% do not know or did not respond.
Younger voters between the ages of 16 and 24 are the most likely (91%) to say that Fake News can influence the direction of the election.
