To be considered punctual, a flight must take off or land within a maximum of 15 minutes of the scheduled time, which is the margin of tolerance established by the consultancy to assess disruptions on the runways.
In this regard, the Japanese are isolated leaders in civil aviation — they occupy ten positions in the first 20 places in the ranking.
