Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Its summer time in Rio and with that comes many fun events like Carnaval and the Rio Music Conference. Today kicks off the beginning of the conference and in turn many parties that will be occurring all throughout the city featuring top DJs both locally and internationally. Tonight will be the first conference sponsored event held at Rio’s top new venue Cave Club, simply called Super Party. The lineup includes a handful of resident DJs from various clubs around Brazil and abroad.
To kick things off, we look to our local heros from the famed Bootleg party Marcelo Abreu and Marcio Careca, they are joined by Gui Sales and Junior C from the popular Forward party thrown every month at Lions Club in Sao Paulo. Also on deck is Gabi Lima and Paulo Pires from the Moove Party at Vibe nightclub in Curitiba. Next up is German DJ and producer Jonty Scruff and last but not least Marcio S from Sub AM out of Manaus.

The gang from Bem Brasil are starting up a new Wednesday night at the ever famous Fosfobox club in Copacabana. The night will feature a mixup of hip hop upstairs and house downstairs, featuring DJs Haron Dufau and Dymytryus. Arrive early for two hours of free caipirinhas.

Super Party (Copacabana)
Its that time of year again for the return of The Rio Music Conference and with it comes a slew of killer parties all over Rio. Today kicks things off at Cave Club with a stellar lineup featuring Marcelo Abreu vs. Marcio Careca, Gui Sales vs. Junior C, Gabi Lima vs. Paulo Pires, Jonty Scruff and Marcio S.
