Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Veneno has been going strong at Casa da Matriz in Botafogo for nine years. The reason for such an extensive lifespan is simple – beautiful people and great music. There isn’t much else one would need to have good time.
Held down at one of the oldest and well-known venues in Rio, Veneno blends their crowd as much as their music, featuring a variety of Brazilians and locals enjoying the best of rock, anthems, and classics from all decades. This party encourages the public to start the weekend on Thursday. Also, the first twenty women get through the door for free.
Tonight, resident DJs Tulio and Newton, drop pop and rock for all ages.

Inova que eu Gosto is a bloco that includes employees and friends of FINEP, which was founded in 2008 by a group of officials with the desire to popularize and promote the activity of science, technology and innovation through one of the most popular expressions of Brazilian culture, Carnival.

João Batista Quarteto (Centro)
