Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight Wobble presents very special guest Untold at Copacabana’s Fosfobox. Born Jack Dunning, Untold is a London DJ and music producer known for his dubstep mixes.
He has toured worldwide and appeared in festivals including Sonar in Barcelona. His most recent album entitled, Black Light Spiral, was released recently in February. Put out by independent record label, Hemlock Recordings, the album received critical praise from numerous sources and has been well received by fans.
Also at Fosfobox tonight, group Epicentro do Bloquinho will perform and DJs Manara, Rodrigo S, Marginal Men, and Fabio Heinz will spin.

João Camarero Quarteto (Lapa)
The João Camarero Quarteto will play at Lapa’s Bar Semente tonight beginning at 7PM. The quartet consists of seven-string guitarist João Camarero, pianist Fernando Leitzke, drummer Marcos Thadeu and Pedro Aune on contrabass. Renata Jambeiro and Nicolas Krassik will also perform later tonight beginning at 10PM.

It’s Language Exchange night at the Blue Agave in Ipanema. Set up like speed dating, native English speakers will be paired up with native Portuguese speakers at tables. The pairs will then speak English for five minutes followed by Portuguese for five minutes. After those ten minutes, each speaker will move on to a new table and conversation partner. It’s a fun, educational event and a great opportunity to mix and mingle with native speakers of both English and Portuguese.
