The cast of the Disney series Soy Luna plays Santo Domingo on Saturday 31 October 2026, at an open-air ground on the city’s seafront. The Soy Luna Santo Domingo show at the Óvalo de la Feria Ganadera is part of “Soy Luna Tour, El Último Show” (The Last Show).

For US families, it is a weekend trip to a Caribbean capital for a series that aired in nearly 150 countries. Tickets start at about US$76 on the official seller, Tuboleta, and US citizens need no visa for a stay of up to 30 days.

What Soy Luna Is and Why the Show Matters

Soy Luna is an Argentine telenovela made by Pol-ka Producciones with Disney Channel Latin America, Diario Libre explained in 2018. Its three seasons aired from 2016 to 2018 and reached more than 59 million viewers in Latin America, N Digital reported, citing Disney.

The series was shown in nearly 150 countries and dubbed into 15 languages, Listín Diario reported on 5 October. A new season, Soy Luna: Volver a Rodar, arrived on Disney+ on 24 July with 12 episodes, N Digital reported.

The show mixes the best-known songs of the first seasons with songs from the new one, with a troupe of dancers. Tuboleta names six cast members for Santo Domingo, led by Karol Sevilla, the series’ lead actress.

The other five are Michael Ronda, Ruggero Pasquarelli, Malena Ratner, Caro Kopelioff and Gastón Vietto. Two Dominican press reports name only five, without Kopelioff, so the official seller’s list is the one to rely on.

Soy Luna’s live show visited the city in September 2018, when “Soy Luna en vivo” played Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal, Diario Libre reported. An earlier Soy Luna tour played 32 cities in Latin America and 37 in Europe, drawing more than a million people, Listín Diario reported.

Golden Peak Live Entertainment produces the tour, whose stops include Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Bogotá, San José, Lima and Santiago de Chile. Tuboleta’s event listing names Global Talent Entertainment GERD as organiser of the Santo Domingo date.

Tickets, Prices and How to Buy

Tuboleta sells four ticket types, and its prices include service charges. The east and west stands cost RD$4,600 (about US$76), and the VIP B1 and B2 sections cost RD$6,200 (about US$103).

The front sections, listed as S. Guest A1 and A2, cost RD$10,580 (about US$175) for rows J to R. Rows A to I cost RD$13,800 (about US$228), at 60.41 pesos to the dollar on 9 October.

Seats in the stands are not numbered, so early arrival matters there. Tuboleta offers a 15% discount with Visa cards while limited quantities last, which brings the cheapest ticket to about US$65.

A Visa presale ran from Monday 5 October to Wednesday 7 October, and general sale opened on 7 October, N Digital reported. Tuboleta also sells by phone on (+1) 809 732 9298 and at its outlet on the fourth floor of Plaza Spring Center.

Tuboleta is the only seller named in Dominican press reports on the date. Tickets offered elsewhere carry a risk of fakes and mark-ups.

The Venue and How to Get There

The Óvalo de la Feria Ganadera is an open-air concert ground at the Feria Ganadera fairgrounds in Santo Domingo, the Dominican capital. Tuboleta places it at kilometre 6.5 of Avenida George Washington, the seafront road called the Malecón.

The ground has hosted several big touring acts this year. Laura Pausini, the Italian singer, played a sold-out show there on 10 May, according to Acento.

Servando y Florentino, the Venezuelan singing duo, filled the same ground on 13 June, Acento reported. When the band Ilegales played there in November 2025, fans stood through torrential rain, De Último Minuto reported.

For the Pausini concert, Acento advised fans to use ride-hailing apps because parking around the Feria Ganadera is difficult. It also told them to arrive two hours early and to book the ride home in advance.

Las Américas International Airport, run by the operator Aerodom, serves the capital. For the ride into the city, the State Department advises taxis recommended by hotels or well-known companies, and says Uber operates in many areas.

What It Means for You

Santo Domingo keeps Atlantic Standard Time, four hours behind GMT, and US clocks fall back only on 1 November. A 7 p.m. start on 31 October is therefore 7 p.m. in New York and 4 p.m. in Los Angeles.

US citizens need a passport valid for six months from arrival and no visa for up to 30 days, says the US State Department. The tourist card fee is included in airline charges, but travellers must complete an eTicket for each entry and exit.

The eTicket is filed on the Dominican migration portal, eticket.migracion.gob.do. Children who are Dominican citizens or residents and leave without one or both parents may need a certification of departure, which can include Dominican-American children.

The State Department rates the country at Level 2, “exercise increased caution”, and calls violent crime a concern despite more police in tourist areas. It also advises against hailing taxis in the street and against unregulated taxis and guaguas, the shared vans.

Cash of US$10,000 or more must be declared when entering or leaving the country. A family of four in the cheapest stands pays about US$305 before the Visa discount, or about US$259 with it.

What Is Not Known

Tuboleta lists the show at 7 p.m. but has not published a door time, an opening act or a running time. It also gives no age limit, so families should check the listing again before travelling.

Bag rules for this date have not been published. Acento’s guide to the Pausini concert listed outside alcohol, professional cameras, metal-tipped umbrellas and chairs as banned, but those rules may differ.

It is not stated whether Tuboleta’s online checkout accepts cards issued outside the Dominican Republic. Its pages show Visa Secure and Mastercard ID Check logos, and the call centre can confirm before buying.
