Dubbed the Copa de Tequila (Tequila Cup), it’s a night not to be missed as 25 teams will compete for a bottle of Jose Cuervo and eternal VIP status at all future TeKiller editions.
Teams will be drinking shots of Tequila, Tequila Sunrises, Margaritas, Mojitos and of course, TeKiller Bombs (Tequila, Jägermeister and Red Bull) as the music for the seven-hour Copa de Tequila will be provided by DJs Wilson Power, Roberto Cruz, Fernando Prado, Millah Bass, Thiago Halleck, Ian Garcez, and Larissa Conforto.

Tonight at Lapa’s Circo Voador Brazilian band Nação Zumbi plays the second night of two back-to-back shows debuting their new self-titled tour.

Samba do Chapéu (Lapa)
Group Samba do Chapéu celebrates four years together with a night of drumming and tributes to old samba at Lapa’s Fundição Progresso. Special guests will include Dudu Nobre and Pretinho da Serrinha.

Barulhinho Bom Party(Lapa)
The Barulhinho Bom Party celebrates its 2nd anniversary tonight at Leviano bar. On the first floor, the group Seu Bando will interpret the works of Lulu Santos, Paralamas do Sucesso and more. Meanwhile on the second floor, a Los Hermanos cover band will perform the groups’ beloved songs to help celebrate the night.

Baile Black Bom (Gamboa)
It’s the second Saturday of the month and that means it’s time again for the Baile Black Bom (Good Black Party). Hosted on the famous Rio site of Pedra do Sal, the free event is a celebration of Afro-Brazilian culture and for the eighth edition tonight, band Consciência Tranquila and DJ Leandro Marcelino Flash return to reinterpret classic funk from the 70s, R & B, and hip-hop until midnight.

Marcos Novatto & Pimenta de Garrafa, Toca na Surdina and Chamego Nordestino (Centro)
At 8PM Marcos Novatto & Pimenta de Garrafa will again start the night off at Rio Scenarium as they interpret the works of Noel Rosa, Chico Buarque and Jorge Benjor. Next at 9PM the group Toca na Surdina will bring the sounds of samba and pop. Closers for the night will be Chamego Nordestino. The trio will celebrate Brazil’s North-East region with the sounds of forró pé de serra beginnning at 2:30 AM.
