Released on August 27, 2013, the first two singles from Hail to the King, the title track and “Shepherd of Fire”, both reached number one in the US.
Avenged Sevenfold was last in the city during 2013’s Rock in Rio festival. There they played between Slayer and headliners Iron Maiden.
With six studio album releases, their music ranges from the genres of metalcore to hard rock to heavy metal. Tonight’s show promises to be rewarding for metal and rock fans in the city.

Multiple DJs will fill two stages at Espaço Acústica for tonight’s edition of Pop ‘N’ Roll BURLESCA, a glamorous and sexy 8 hour long burlesque party. DJs on the first stage will play pop, electro-pop, hits and funk while the second stage DJs will spin indie and pop.

Rock Away (Botafogo)
Casa da Matriz will rock out tonight out to end summer. In celebration of the two year anniversary of their Rock Away parties they will host the band Ganeshas and DJs Polly, Grazzia and Ivy will spin after the show. Also on a second stage, the venue will host the GOO party with resident DJs Grazzia and Larissa Conforto playing the best of the Grunge, Riot Grrl , Post-Rock , and Overdrive genres.
