PARTY:
Amigos da Onça convida Attøøxxá @ HUB RJ (Santo Cristo) – This is another classic Carnival warm-up party from one of the biggest blocos around, Amigos da Onça. There will be plenty of fun and mayhem with a complete rehearsal of the ‘bloco’ (street party) followed by some heavy partying courtesy of Attøøxxá, plus DJ sets from DJ Ju Schultz and DJ Bahruth.
Food and beverages will be available on site, including vegan and veggie options: providers include Poderosa na Chapa, Ki Delicia Pasteis, and Pizzamba.
Tickets are between R$20 – R$50 and the night gets going at 8PM.

Mundo Lingo @ Jungle Garden Pub (Botafogo) – This Tuesday is the seventh meeting of the successful language exchange meet-up Mundo Lingo. They call themselves a ‘huge community of locals and internationals that meet every week to chat, meet new people, and practice speaking other languages.’
‘There will be flag stickers from over 150 countries and regions. Your native language goes at the top. The rest follow below in order or ability towards the weakest at the bottom. It’s open to all nationalities and languages and you can talk about anything you like. You don´t have to be an advanced speaker, or even speak a second language – its for all levels!’
Happy Hour is from 7-9PM with a two-for-one offer on caipirinhas. This event is free and starts at 7PM.

Biltre convida Duda Beat @ Teatro Ipanema (Ipanema) – This is a meeting between Duda Beat and Biltre which produced a sold-out show the first time they joined forces.
This is a show that combines Duda Beat’s indie pop with the stylings of the band Biltre. Conceived by the producer Julianna Sá, the show gathers songs from the singer’s popular releases of 2018, underground hits from the most memorable group on the contemporary scene, and other tracks that mix Duda’s pop-romance with the danceable beat of Biltre in one exciting and infectious sound.
Tickets are R$20 and the show begins at 9PM.
