Baile do Saddam @ Fosfobox (Copacabana) – Still keeping the New Year’s party mood going, one of the most inclusive and democratic club night in Rio’s ‘Zona Sul’ (South Zone) arrives for its 24th edition, in midsummer. As always, it’s all about dancing until the sun comes up with a full roster of DJs playing the best in hip-hop, rap and baile funk.
The line-up on the main dancefloor is as follows: Pauly, Saddam, Tamenpi, Grandmaster Raphael, Nicko. And on the Fosfobar there will be DJ sets courtesy of Sarah Ferreira and Babi Gazal.
Tickets are between R$10 – R$30 and the night gets going at 11:30PM.

London Calling @ The Rock Bar (Jardim Botânico) – The new summer season of The Rock Bar has arrived with another edition of London Calling. This time they will be honoring one of the truly great English bands with a tribute show to The Rolling Stones.
The show will be performed by Black Monkees, who recently entertained crowds with their stellar Beatles tribute. Soon after the show, DJ Careca will be spinning the best rock and pop tracks to keep everyone dancing until the sun comes up.
The night should start at 8PM and entry is free.

Veneno Disco Club @ Casa da Matriz (Botafogo) – The most classic alternative Thursday in the city is back to warm up the summer even more. With more than thirteen years of entertaining the crowd, and more than 600 editions of this super-successful club night, they can almost guarantee a fun time will be had by all.
Expect plenty of rock, pop, indie, and all the hits from the eighties and nineties courtesy of DJ Beto Artista & Friends. And on the second dancefloor, there will be a special set from DJs Kleber Tuma & Teddy-O.
Tickets are available for free, with certain conditions, or otherwise they can be up to R$50, and the night gets going at 11PM.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Blue Agave in Ipanema is a great place for Mexican food, strong drinks and watching the latest domestic and international sports. They have English-speaking staff and is a popular expat hangout in Ipanema. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.

Flashback (Ipanema)
Flashback is a high-end restaurant with plenty of classical music and photos decorating the walls. Tonight, between 7PM and 9PM the restaurant will serve a happy hour with two for one on caipivodkas and Stella Artois. The caipivodkas are made fresh with either lime, strawberry or passionfruit as well as additional herbs added in for a taste explosion.
