PARTY:
Auê : Amigos da Onça, Minha Luz é de LED, Bloco 442 @ HUB RJ (Santo Cristo) – This is going to be a huge Carnival party, combining three of the most popular ‘blocos’ (Carnival street parties) in one place.
Stage 1 is going to feature complete shows courtesy of Amigos da Onça and Minha Luz é de LED as well as plenty of guest musicians and DJs. While Stage 2 is going to have a special show courtesy of Bloco 442 plus plenty of live music to keep the party going all through the night. Plus, until 6:30PM there will be two-for-one on all beer!
Tickets are R$40 and the event starts at 4PM.

PARTY:
Ô Fervo @ MAM Rio (Centro) – This is another huge multi-bloco party, featuring Bloco Bunytos de Corpo, Céu na Terra, Vem Cá, Minha Flor, Agytoê and Bloco Pra Iaiá.
To accompany this there will also be music from the Arlequeens and DJ Dan Mattos. MAM Rio is a stunning building with all the modern amenities to ensure that this is a safe and comfortable party experience for all.
Tickets are between R$10-R$30 and the party kicks off at 4PM.

PRéFTER Frigideira @ Bar do Nanam (Centro) – This is part of the Carnival series put on by Bar do Nanam, a free daily party for all those coming from or going to other blocos.
Tonight the festivities are hosted by Rio Underground and feature international and local DJs, including Valentina Luz (Brazil) SamSilva (Chile) Menja Mist (Holland) SERPA (Brazil), Hollanda (Brazil), Vitín (Brazil, and WLHM (Australia).
This party is free and starts at 9PM.

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.

Void/House of Food (Botafogo)
Blending culinary, drinks and fashion, the bar/store invites a different chef to prepare a new menu every week. Besides great imported beer labels, it usually serves delicious veggie food and homemade burgers.

Pavão Azul (Copacabana)
Pavão Azul is a lively bar in Copacabana, famous for its exceptionally cold beers and prawn pastels. It gets crowded there every night, making every day of the week seem like the weekend.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Blue Agave Ipanema is always a great place for Mexican food, drinks and for watching live sport streams and broadcasts. Just around the corner from Posto 9, the bar is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
