PARTY:
Bloco do Tropkillaz @ Museu de Arte Moderna (Centro) – After the success of the Baile do Tropkillaz at the São Paulo Carnival (with more than 60,000 people in attendence), Tropkillaz brings its own Carnival party to the Cidade Maravilhosa for the first time!
The lineup includes the Major Lazer Soundsystem, Omulu, Heavy Baile, Batekoo & Deize Tigrona, Wobble DJs (Marginal Men B2B Rodrigo S, Diana Bouth and many, many more domestic and international acts with plenty of surprises for those in attendance.
Tickets are between R$20 – R$40 and the party starts at 4PM.

PARTY:
Carrapetas @ Rio Beach Club (Barra da Tijuca) – This is a party bringing a lot of hip-hop both live and provided by some world class DJs for a party that will no doubt go from the day all the way through the night!
There will be live shows courtesy of hip-hop legend Ja Rule and Brazilian superstar Karol Conka, while DJ sets will run throughout the party, coming from big names such as DJ A, RV, P8, Bruno X, Nicole Nandes and many more.
Tickets are available from R$100 and the party starts at 3PM.

Bloco: Não Deixe o Rock Morrer! @ Bar Bukowski (Botafogo) – For the third consecutive year, Bar Bukowski will lead the most rock ‘n’ roll carnival in Rio with plenty of very special guests, going through all the greatest hits from some of the top national and international rock acts.
Expect to hear live music from: Pedro Erthal (Legião Urbana) Black Circle (Pearl Jam) Pepê Moraes (Cazuza) Doctor Pepper (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) Pardais (Led Zeppelin) Marina Kalil (Women of Rock) and Overdrive (Foo Fighters).
The bloco is free but the party inside Bukowski’s is sold out! Proceedings should start at 1PM.

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those who aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 6PM and finishes at 8PM.

Pavão Azul (Copacabana)
Pavão Azul is a lively bar in Copacabana, famous for its exceptionally cold beers and prawn pastels. It gets crowded there every night, making every day of the week seem like the weekend.

Blue Agave Copa (Copacabana)
