Cristina Bolsonaro is attacked in her car in Brasília

The car of Cristina Bolsonaro, ex-wife of Jair Bolsonaro, was ransacked on Thursday night (29) in Lago Sul, a suburb of Brasília.

Her sister, an aide, and the driver were in the vehicle.

Cristina is the mother of Renan Bolsonaro and PP candidate for district deputy in the Federal District.

According to witnesses, a hooded person was the perpetrator.

An unidentified object shot at the car as Cristina and her team were leaving the garage of her home.

The same day, the lawyer’s apartment was spray-painted with the words “Death to Bolsonaro.” Cristina filed a complaint with the police.

The candidate and her team thought they would die at that moment, Power360 learned from the victims’ accounts.

On Instagram, Jair Renan called the action “retaliation” and spoke of “baseless hatred” against the Bolsonaro family.

The Cabinet for Institutional Security, responsible for the president’s security and his family members, went to the scene to review the incident. Military police were also on the scene.

Cristina was the president’s second wife. He is currently married to Michelle.

Cristina was born in Rio de Janeiro. She is 55 years old and a lawyer.
