U.S. diplomat highlights Paraguay’s fight against corruption

U.S. Chargé d'Affaires Joseph Salazar highlighted the process developed by the Republic of Paraguay with its institutions in the fight against corruption. The United States government continues to support the fight against the issue.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - "On International Anti-Corruption Day, we recognize Paraguay's progress in this area and we urge citizens, the private sector and the press to demand greater transparency and efficiency in the fight against this scourge. United against corruption," the U.S. diplomat said on social networks.

The representative took part in the International Anti-Corruption Day celebrations, where a conference entitled "Growing challenges for the country: fight against corruption and money laundering" was held, organized by the Development Institute with the support of the Central Bank of Paraguay, the National Anti-Corruption Secretariat, Seprelad and USAID . . .
