RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In a meeting on Saturday, the appointed Brazilian representative presented his strategic work plan and answered several questions about Paraguay.
The main Paraguay-Brazil bilateral links are focused on sharing common infrastructure, energy and border cooperation, as well as the fight against transnational illegal activities.
He pointed out that Brazil shares a 1,339 km border with Paraguay, of which some 700 km are dry borders. He also said that 11% of the energy consumed by Brazil comes from Itaipu.
