The American newspaper Washington Post published that billionaire Elon Musk has fired the entire Twitter team in Brazil, including those responsible for content moderation.
There is also no longer a press office for the company in the country.
The social network has no communications department, which was shut down after Musk completed his acquisition of Twitter in October.
Musk had already signaled that he would change the entire team of the platform full of militants; internal investigations found that employees of the social network benefited left-wing politicians in the Brazilian elections.
The information was released by Elon Musk himself in his profile:
“I have seen many worrying tweets about the recent elections in Brazil,” Musk revealed in response to Australian journalist Avi Yemini.
“If these tweets are accurate, it is possible that the Twitter people have given preference to leftist candidates.”
