Chile: death of Argentine and Uruguayan citizens in accident on Lanín Volcano confirmed

Two people died in an accident on the slopes of the Lanin Volcano, in the region of La Araucania, near Chile's border with Argentina. The fatalities are an Argentine woman and an Uruguayan man. Two other people were injured and were rescued by the joint work of national and neighboring country personnel.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A 30-year-old Argentine woman and a 26-year-old Uruguayan man died in an accident on the slopes of the Lanín volcano, located on Chile's border with Argentina, in a sector inside Chilean territory towards the commune of Curarrehue, in the region of La Araucanía.
