RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Argentina is -with only two projects in production- the fourth largest global producer of lithium, but it is preparing to take a "massive leap" thanks to the steady progress of other projects in the pipeline and the investment "boom" that the sector is going through.
According to official data, between 2020 and 2021 investment announcements in lithium mining in Argentina rose to US$3.3825 billion.
