The Brazilian Army is about to receive 20 units of the specialized rescue vehicle MaxxPro MRV-P manufactured by Navstar Defense, which will be used in support of the IDV Guarani 6x6 armored fleet, as part of a long process started in 2019.
It is the same vehicle recently acquired by the Spanish Army to support its MRPA RG-31 vehicles and equipped with a Stanag-2 level armored cab.
The Brazilian purchase comprises an armored recovery vehicle kit (with Stanag 2 armored cab) and a batch of spare parts for 20 units.
