US removes Brazil from list of countries not recommended for travel

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The United States on Monday (18) removed 90 countries, including Brazil, from the list of countries not recommended for travel because of Covid-19.

Last week, the CDC, the U.S. Centers for Disease Prevention, had already announced it would review the selection.

Brazil now joins European countries such as Portugal, France and the United Kingdom on the high-risk list for Covid-19 (level 3 on a scale of 4).

CDC recommends travelers update their vaccinations before traveling to these countries - and avoid travel if they are not vaccinated against Covid-19.
