Guyana has reopened border with Brazil at Roraima state

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Guyana has officially reopened its border with Brazil on weekends starting this Saturday (the 19th). This information was released by the municipality of Bonfim and confirmed by g1.

Bonfim is located on the Brazilian side of the border, north of Roraima. The municipality is the overland gateway to Lethem, a city in Guyana that is considered a paradise for cheap shopping and whose tax laws are far less strict than in Brazil.
